|Me minus 50 pounds|
Anyways, my running is going great. Doing 7 miles a day, 4-5 days a week. I'm about due for a long run soon.
I'm so proud of my husband. He's jumped on the exercise bandwagon, going to the Y 2-3 times a week. Someday I hope we can run a race together! Beano told him yesterday that his "belly was going to explode!" I just want him to be healthy, I don't care how thin he is.
|Anna and her BFF|
Beano is just Beano. He likes to stay in his PJ's all day, I'm pretty sure he knows his real name is Camden, but we so rarely call him that I can't be certain. We have decided to wait until he is 6 before he goes to kindergarten. He was the baby for so long, I just don't think he's ready. Beano is the ultimate multi-tasker, (sucking his thumb while doing EVERYTHING). It's a true talent. And when I am frustrated at something, or someone spills for the 100th time that day, he always says,"I love you". In the heat of the moment, that always calms me down. He is Anna's tormentor and Jacob's ambassador, sticking up for Jacob and blaming Anna, even when she's innocent. Is this how brotherly love works? I'm so glad we gave Anna a sister.
Katelyn is amazing. I can hardly remember life without her. She has the most sparkling personality. I am wondering if the other kids were this way as babies and I missed it because I was caring for the other babies. Sometimes I just sit and watch her play. She has a basket full of toys which she stands by and throws toy after toy over her shoulder. She also does this with her diapers, and her books, and the shoes. She reminds me of a little puppy, eating scraps of paper off the floor, picking up her food with her mouth instead of her fingers. She is so sweet, she'll grab both sides of my face and squeeze it against hers in hug form. I am often playing music and singing and dancing and she'll hold out her arms to dance with me and sing along. If someone is in the shower and they forget to close the door all the way, Katelyn will sneak in, pull the curtain back and stick her head in the stream of water. She did this to Jacob the other day and I heard him yell, "Someone get Katelyn!!!! She's in my privacy!!". I can hardly believe she will be one in one short month, but that's another blog...
